Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Awareness Day
Marks the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, signed into law on 26 July 1990. The ADA is landmark US civil rights legislation prohibiting discrimination against people with disabilities in employment, public services, public accommodations, transportation, and telecommunications.
