Open Source Accessibility Summit 2026
Other by Dennis Lembree, Esther Siram, Jeff Bishop, Jen Mankoff, Joe Devon, Maria Lamardo, Sam Fleming
This summit launches the Open Source Accessibility Framework, an improvement and accountability model that helps open source projects make accessibility part of their ongoing work. It is not a certification, score, ranking, or guarantee of conformance.
Attendees will learn how to begin with practical foundational actions and progressively integrate accessibility into project workflows, testing, and community practices.
Bring a laptop and a GitHub account. You can bring an open source project you maintain, contribute to, or use to work on during the sessions. Free admission, co-located with All Things Open 2026.
